Havent seen a good movie since Ive been here, down town theatres are very poor and our field show isnt as good as the others have been. Believe Ill go tonight however as its "My Friend Flicka". Got a letter from Clyde Whitney the other day he seems quite cheerful and confident he will soon be back at the office. Dont know why his letter was returned to him but tell him I received it if I dont get to answer it right away. Cant understand how you got four letters from me in one day I assure you I only write one a day at most. Are they dated different days leaving here? our mail orderly is punk no one like shim and we wonder just how well he does his job sometimes. Yes Mr. Dibble got the picture you sent seemed glad to have it. He has Mrs. D. had put in a victory garden. they dont have much room. she planted cucumbers under a tree and radishes in circles around some of the shrubs, a dozen tomato platnts etc. Unless its warmer there than here the garden will suffer. Hope Grandmother is feeling better by now, it is too bad you folks cant drive out but I know there is a gas problem, perhaps we can go out when I get home. I have heard a soldier on furlough can get a small gas allottment and Im going to find out about it. I laughed about what [Milan?] said about
