Wonder if I could send my old one to you and could have it renewed. sure want to be home before 1946 and will need it I hope. I'll wait till I see when I get home however. King will certainly be busy in and around W.U. but hope they enjoy their stay. mighty glad they could come up. Saw by the Union where you were expecting them. also noted the intelligence of U.S.U. being awarded honorary degrees. I wonder how much of the new seeding and alfalfa killed out on my farm. have Dad ask Bill [illegible] it wasnt roo bad. you really must have had a winter to winter kill those yellow roses. arent they very hardy. Did Mrs. [Hay?] buy an electric stove?
