too, how do they think of the predicaments to get him into. Rather enjoy that program. Have to make up my bed before long, this is the day we air our bedding. Wednesday is salvage day, Thursday bed airing day and Friday is shoe inspection day so we have to remember each one. We get a clean pillow case and ducking mattress cover every week so we keep fairly clean. At Wendover we used one set seven weeks buy I had turned that every possible way to get a clean side. Am listening to Crushy now, got my G.I. Oxfords yesterday, an officer bought them for me (my money of course) they are very comfortable and a good quality shoe. Some are Florsheims + others leading companies, built to good specifications anyhow. Only $3.42 think before I come home Ill get another pair and leave them at home. Got another ship today an old one- just came from depot overhaul only has a thousand hours on it. Rather hoped I might get a new one but that's my luck. The line chief, told one of my crew that the reason we got it was because we were the best crew on the line but that's a lot of houie. Im a rotten mechanic but do have some good men on my crew and we get along pretty well. Have a good conduct ribbon now jut a little old red + white ribbon pin which shows you have a years service in the Army with good conduct, doesnt mean much
