June 18, 1943 Pocatello, Idaho Dear Dad + Mom: This has been another good day but as usual the wind came up about four and I thought it was going to rain but so far it hasnt. This country has peculiar weather but I rather like the camp. Didnt get any mail today but for some reason there wasnt much for anybody. Every once in awhile it seems to bunch up. Just came back from getting my hair cut and mustache trimmed. We are lucking in having an excellent barber in the next barracks. He used to run a shop in New York City and is very good he has his clippers and equipment with him and works most every night
