we are to have an inspection in the morning so everyone is trying to get their hair cut tonight. Have been taking calesthentics this week. This is compulsory as you cant get your pass without three hours credit. Had my picture taken about a week ago to be put on our new passes. Most of the guys are unrecognizable but I think my snap is the best picture ive ever had taken. We all lined up stepped into focus the guy pressed a button + we stepped out took less than a second. Must turn in another pair of G.I. shoes in for repair tomorrow. They are tearing out along the sole, never wore out so many shoes in my life must be the rocks + gravel walk ways and being on the concrete so much. Tonight Tammy Riggs + Betty Lou are distracting me now cant think of anything to write anyhow and that makes it doubly tough. Looked at P.X. for something for Fathers day but didnt find a thing so for the time being anyhow I'll just send my love best wishes Pap. Hope to see you soon. I realize now more than ever what a grand Pap ive got. Must shower + turn in Love Johnny
