in the second row. we will have another meet along the last of the month. hope we can win that the trophy given must be won by a squadron three months in a row before we can keep it. Had a good inspection yesterday even tho I was a bit short of help. Grand inspector only found a couple of little items. Seems like details K.P., furloughs, dental examinations etc. always comes up when we are having an inspection. Also it rained and we had to move our plane in the hanger, then it cleared so we moved it out to complete washing her down, then it rained again so in it went once more. Aunt Jennie sent me a nice letter yesterday and I got one from you. Im behind in answering I know but believe me these darned airplanes keep a fellow busy. Well ive been here about as long as ive stayed in [one?] [spot?] for a long time expect we will move pretty soon but not for a month or more. Had our little barber cut my hair and trim my moustache this morning. Due to the strict rules this field has about haircuts he dos a big business. Our C.O plans to set him up a chair in our corner of the day room but dont know whether that will materialize or not. My friend from Wisconsin who just came back from furlough brought me a jar of cheese with a long name but very mild good taste. his wife came back with him and they
