We've got a bunch of the cutest little pups running around the camp now. An old dog being [illegible] had nine or ten also being [illegible] and when they all come out it is quite a sight. No two look alike but are all fat as butterballs I think they stand in pretty well at the mess hall. A few are already claimed, have dog tags like the soldiers and every description of harness + collars. Its getting cool again tonight and [illegible] it's sure food to sleep, all the doors and windows wide open but tough getting up in the morning. Nothing to write about so I'll sign off. Love Johnny
