again tonight, got the tail skid all fixed and a good job. Now has a bright shiny patch on the belly of it. You are having a spell of pipe painting Ill bet you dont spill near as much paint as Bob Ostrander as the Sturms would. That is surely a tedious job, I wouldnt like it Im sure. I heard a new rumor today that we were to going to winter in Tennessee. Wish there was some truth in it but I don't think there is. Wouldnt be surprised if we stayed right here all winter. Some fellows are being transferred out of this squadron into other units. One fellow I know well is going to Sioux City, Iowa boy wouldnt I like that. Uncle Ralph is doing well in Kansas all right. Expect they are getting tired of show business too and are ready to go home. Did Cliffie Nagel get a discharge? I'm getting sleepy. Love Johnny
