Glad our silo is filled [on?] the farm it is good to know you are going to have plenty of feed for the winter. I think you were very conservative in your selection of light fixtures didn't have any idea they could be gotten so cheaply even very plain ones. Hope there is outside [wiring?] enough to care for the buildings adequately am sure they will be a great convenience. [Milan?] was lucky to get back in God's country for his schooling, it's mighty nice he got into that. Maybe his folks can see him now and stay by W.U. Those credits he will get for college work can be transferred wherever he goes afterward. The [illegible] seem to think a lot of that white cat [illegible] she catches all the available mice and gophers on the place. My ship is flying cross country so we arent very busy days and nights are mean. We have an inspection tonight but not a very important one just a 25 Hr. night crew should do it without any trouble. Think I will go to the show tonight dont know what one it is but one of Edw. G. Robinsons. Probably a lot of action to it - am enclosing a small money order, loaned a guy some to go on a furlough. Will send it next month tho. As long as I can I'm going to save $100 per month. Expect they will put more pressure on us soon to buy more war bonds tho. Love, Johnny
