bonds during this third drive its okay with me. Expect Ill have bills to pay on the wiring and I do hope we can get the lime spread this fall, enjoy spending it for something like that, which I believe will give good returns. Like to think there is a good saddle and horse there for me too when I get out. Glad you went out to the farm and found things pretty good. Cant quite [illegible] you wanting a cat but guess they are nice pets, [illegible] if you wouldnt have quite a struggle getting one from the little girls. Is the carpenter going to build the gate between the barn and stack tank when he is there, we do need one quite badly. Think it should be of 2" dimension and bolted as it takes quite a beating there, whatever Pap thinks tho. If it was built that way it could be boarded up tight when material is available. Glad your weather has been so pleasant lately will help finish out that [illegible] corn [crap?]. I havent heard from nor written to Bob but will write soon. You will enjoy the food at the Sandas., Florence is a good cook I think. I thought about your wedding anniversary but forgot to mention it before. Mr. Dibble stopped to see me last night, got a pass so he could come on the field took him to our [illegible] theatre and to look over a B-24. Seemed to enjoy it, brought me a watermelon and muskmelon. Said he would stop again on his return trip in a week or so. Carrall [Marissx?] had a birthday then didnt he, wasnt he the one born on your anniversary Love Johnny
