day we were rained out. Today I shot the machine gun it's really a sweet little gun, its the first time Ive had a gun in my hands since Ive been in the Army, with the exception of a sawed off shot gun used for guard duty. I scored 96 out of a passable 100 which put me in the expert class. They rate them that way from 60 - 70 you qualify from 70 - 80 is something else? 80 - 90 is sharp shooter & 90 - 100 is Expert. However I did shoot a round of skeet day before yesterday, really enjoyed that, first time for that too but I didnt do so hot only broke 13 out of 25 but even then tied for high score. The wind was very strong and from one direction the birds really sailed fast. Have quite a job facing me now, my ship comes out tomorrow for three supercharger changes and a fifty hour inspection. That rep-resents quite a lot of work but guess it must be done and there is only one way to do it, get right at it. Went to the show last night and enjoyed it a lot, got a bunch of laughs. It was "[Tug?] Man" not much of a show but funny Didnt get back from ball practice until late, showered, shaved & went to the second show which starts at 8 PM. hence my letter writing suffered Our mail has been mixed up lately all right cant understand you getting three letters in one day as I never write more than one I
