took off my mask, all one side of my face was smeared and there were a couple of table spoons full of blood in my mask. Had to wash it all out and hang it up to dry. Those masks are a great device, you dont get any odor of gas at all they filter it out so well. Some of the guys didnt get theirs on soon enough and got sick. Am sure glad Im to get the lime spread it may cost quite a little but think it will pay in the end. It wont take Bill long to plow with the tractor so I expect it will get done okay Hope Raymie & Ethel come for the visit, but I know everyones gas supply is short. So Grandma is homesick, well I guess there is no place as nice as home. I've never found as good a spot yet. Eldo's job wouldnt take so long if he can get some favorable weather, the windows in the chicken house really do need puttying and painting, those chickies have to keep warm. Got another letter from Milan, he said he'd forgotten whether he [illegible] me a letter or not. Getting along fine I guess. Also got the papers today but havent read them yet. My new superchargers all worked without any trouble last night and she's been flying all day without troubles. Love Johnny
