who walk uprightly. I have not a doubt as to the future. It will all be right. I am so happy that you are living religiously. When you come home how much good we can do. I have no other desire than to be a useful woman, At home in my family, in society at large, & in the church, God can & will be my strength in weakness, & if we do indeed desire to honor Him in our usefulness we will have His Spirit to assist us. I often think of your conversion how clear & bright it was, & of your cheerful & hopeful trust in God, It is indeed a sure foundation on which to build. The shipwrecks of time can not harm us. O Weaver how much I need your assistance in training Maud, Her nature is a perfect study to me, She has so much firmness & decision & penetration & with all such tender feelings that I am sometimes afraid my hand is not steady enough to steer the barque aright. But then I am comforted again in knowing there is a Fountain of
