O My dear dear Weaver. thrice blessed is my lot on earth by being united with yours. O I am so happy in being your wife. Can I make you as happy as I am. do you think I can? I Am afraid not, My happiness is so great, But then you will love me for trying to make you happy, & then that big noble, true heart of yours will be happy too. O bless you, bless you again & again. I must kiss you now, one of those deep meaning kisses you love so well. Will the war be over soon & how long before I again am clasped in your arms ,& together sing "Home again" I firmly believe Providence will not let the sacrifice of life be so great again but that the rebels will surrender, & the prominent Gen's abscond, One year tomorrow since you left for
