Two weeks from today if you are here we will have our little pets baptised wont, we? It is quarterly Meeting. O I hope you will be here. I wonder if you all are resting this warm day or Marching. How my heart aches for our dear soldiers but, they are not objects of pity as much as these comtemptable Copperheads are. If the draft comes it will be their time to go as almost all the loyal men are gone. Allen is gone into the hundred day servace. We have no news in town evry thing passes off as usual. How I wish you were here. We have evry thing fixed up so neatly, & it is so clean & cool, Vines runing over the windows yard clean & garden growing finly, radishes &
