American Y.M.C.A On Active Service with the American Expeditionary Force Aprill 25 1918 Dear Mother, I received the lot with the soap, and cigarette. I must write, and thank Tom [illegible] for it and also must thank you, and Grace for packing, and sending it. I washed the Sweater Aunt [Lillian] sent me, I thought it would shrink but it looks as tho it has expanded. It isnt dry yet, but it looks like a dress, but I think it will come out all right. For a while since the big drive started they let out our [forces?] but things must look better becaus to day, it
