OK H [Koontz]? 2nd Lieut Engrs Axel got another letter from Julius, we know just about where he is. Also I must tell you about the real white woman I saw last week, she wasent very pretty, but she sure looked good, and when she talked we could understand her. She and another girl, and a fellow came here and sang for us. They are the first American girls I have saw since I left New York, some of the fellows have saw American nurses. I was kidden Sis M[Illegible] [illegible], I said I dont know but what Iam writing to a married women, but will take a chance. And you said she was engaged. I thought something like that, by her last letter, Ill write her and kid her, don't let her know you told me. Mayme will be through next month won't she? I ment to give her a present of some kind, and will do my best to do so get. She deserves more than I can give. She was in my room every hr. of the day when I was in the hospital. Lots of love and kisses to all. your son Francis.
