this side, she thinks shes seeing some hard knacks in the [Lord?] sister, but its a joke. I wish I could of been there for the party at Mables, Ill bet you had some time, Remember [illegible] when you took me to the party, and I dressed up like a Sisie. Ha. Ha. This morning I woke up about fire bells. John Nelson was pulling my foot, he said do you hear that noise. I jumped up thinking it was a Hun avatar, and said what noise was it.They said "Jelinoise" I could of took a shot at him I told a fellow about it so he thought he would spring it on some one so, he went up to another fellow, and said, Do you hear that racket. The fellow said what racket, the one that was springing the joke said, oh hell Missouri. I have typed all day to think of that one about the policeman you tried to spring, do you remember it. I must close and go to work lots of love and kisses your Bro. Francis.
