So you and Major [Hoople?] Barnhard had a lonnnnnng visit, boy he is long winded all right. I served on the Jury with him and he knows almost everything. I got the cookies Adeline sent and they have long since been eaten. Wrote her a thank you note too. Maybe if a fellow had Asthma bad he could want to live in Texas but I surely have seen some spots in that great state I wouldn't care to live. I guess there are good spots as big as it is it should have some. Who was buying the bull you spoke of Bill and Guy Goodsfeed going after is Gary or Bill & I. Can't seem to concentrate on this letter, too much confusion around and I have to keep glancing up to see if any planes have come in. Hope you have a very Happy New Year and it will see little Johnny back in West Union in Fayette County. Love Johnny
