I do remember [about?] B. Broughton and I would go to the movies there was a [spiral?] [compass?] on the theatre [illegible] which was good for father & son. I hadn't thought of it for a long time. By all means get a bedside radio, most of the best music comes in late at night. If I'm tired music [illegible] keep me awake and it is restful if a fellow isn't sleeping. That's a shame about [Joan?] [Ruby?] I'm dreadfully sorry. Poor kid she's such a good egg I don't see why she had to have such bad luck. Will try and write to her. Your little neighbor (Ott) should be able to keep you posted with all the news. Mrs. Meyers should get almost as much as Mrs. [Tarsan?] used to. Those kids are workers I guess and their mother makes them save their money. Must go back to work, have to go to a lecture tonight. Will try and write ever day so you'll know I haven't left, when we leave I won't be able to write until I reach our [post?]
