No pay [get?] or no writing paper. September 6 At last got paied today. Bought pen, Ink 20 [c?] bottle. paper. All the guys came in drunk, had some time getting them to bed. Cook is drunk, hope he will be all right to get breakfast. Had all kinds of fruit and candy. August 7 Wrote letters, and bought suvaners. writing a letter to Mary Moss, when it got dark, and had to quit. Will finish in the morning. Has been a fine day. Feeling fine.
