Marseilles March 21, 1919 Dear Mother, Well at last were down by the big pond and will be on it befor long. We expect orders at any time to load on some kind of a water going craft, and step for America. We have had our inspections from turning our under shirts insid out to looking between our toes. I will send you word as soon as we hit N.Y. Iam feeling fine so dont worry. This will be my last letter from France.
