Oct. 31, 1943 Pocatello, Idaho Dear Dad + Mom: Brrr. it's cold here today, everything was frozen up solid this morning but it warmed some during the day.Tonight things are frozen up again and you walk briskly to keep warm. Went to the show again this evening havent gone to so many shows in months as I have this past week, Saw "Princess O'Rourke"and enjoyed it very much there are a lot of laughs in it. Think you would enjoy it when it comes to W.V. Im glad you got Grandma back as long as she wanted to go so badly. Ill bet she had the back seat full of junk. Did she remember her brush and all her canned stuff. Ill bet you enjoyed the ride over to Waverly for all it may have knocked quite a hole in your gas supply. It was nice to stop and see the Plegg unkuhles. They are mighty nice folks and always been good to me. So old Plegg got his new building, they certainly needed it badly. Was Shorty glad to see you? They are expecting another snow tonight but I dont know whether it will materialize or not. My ship is diluted and the engines covered so let come what may. Worked on my lecture today but didnt seem to get much done. It will be a very dull
