buddies is on C.Q so I'm helping him pass the evening. Getting mighty cold again tonight, was mostly all day spit rain, hail and snow intermittantly. Expect this is "unusual weather" for this country but it hasn't been pleasant for the past couple of weeks and we aren't getting much flying time in. Last night at the party I was visiting with a combat man who had recently returned from over seas he knew a bunch of the fellows who were in the first bunch of crews we turned out at [illegible] was quite interested to hear about those fellows. The party was quite a success I think, plenty of good food, music was good, + had a floor show that everyone seemed to enjoy, Dancing, comedy skits, magician etc. [Hupe?]Milan writes soon and tells me where he is I might possibly move someplace near where he is in the next few weeks. It should be close enough so I could see him. As yet our move is in a [rumor?] stage but we are quite sure of moving somewhere near where he is located. Thanks a lot for the offer but don't send me any candy, don't need it. However if you get the urge to bake some cookies they always go mighty good but don't skimp yourself on the sugar. We get all of such things we need I'm sure but they don't taste like Moms. Think I'll turn in pretty early tonight as I didn't get too much sleep last night. Love Johnny
