has been that way before I was in the 382 [illegible]. Group (H), 536 Bomb Sqdn. I never [illegible] to put it on my old address. We have B-24s as before and I will tell you more about it when I get home. I'm sorry to hear about Mrs. Humphreys illness, do hope she is feeling better. She was always very nice to me and seemed so friendly. Even when we used to hang around up at Ellys station she never seemed to mind the crowd and noise. You must have had a busy day, when you did all the darning, [illegible] [illegible] you spoke of. There is lots of [mark?] around that big home maybe you should make a duplex of it as you've [illegible] me, [illegible] of. You surely don't need all the too you have now. It was good you had just finished with your dish collection before the [illegible] ladies called to see them, boy I'll bet you smiled with pride. I'm sure I wouldn't mind a cold room at home. I'm sure to wouldn't be colder than our barracks with all the windows open and only three small stones. Probably won't write again before I leave here but may send a note tomorrow. Love Johnny
