and a box of candy from Lloyd. The mail man said he sent two boxes over to the hospital for me this morning so I should get them tomorrow. The wiring is about what I expected it might be. Guess I have money to pay for it, thats the main thing. Im certainly glad they are in and in service. We are having another siege of inspections in this squadron. Inspectors going thru the barracks, hangar, airplanes etc. I missed most of that but I guess it about drove the boys nuts. I have a darn split lip, had a bunch of fever blisters or cold sores in the hospital and one in the middle of my lower lip isnt quite healed. Wont be long it's coming along in good shape. Poor Ernie Schnor, I used to buy gas from him over in Hawkeye, wonder if that was Ed Wiedeman the trucker who died. dont hardly think so. Must stop & sew some chevrons on a pair of overalls. A group order says we must have them on or get busted. Love Johnny
