Kearney Army Air Field Kearney, Nebr. April 28, 1944 Dear Dave, Just a few lines to let you know where I am at. We are at our staging area but time is very short and our stay here brief so I guess you better hold off mailing any copies of your letter until I send you my APO number. Its sure cold and wet out here in Nebr. quit a change from the desert in Texas. Well Dave I better close for now so will write when I get on the other side somewhere.
