you know where) I am in the G-3 Section (operations and planning) of First United States Army Group (FUSAG), which headquarters corresponds to the old GHQ of the last war. At the present that is about all I can say. On reading your latest edition of "E.S." I too felt a loss on hearing of Miss Montgomery's and Miss Shields' retirement. Although I am an alumnus of only 8 years service, good old WHS is beginning to seem a little strange on seeing so few familiar faces when walking down its marble halls. One of my greatest thrills was when I attended a pep meeting at the High School just last December and I had the opportunity to see and talk to a few of my former teachers. I still felt like a little schoolboy in their presence. Well I imagine I had better call it quits for now. Again I want to thank you for your weekly edition. Give the gang my hello and may we all get together someday in the not to far future for a helluva big homecoming. As ever, [Capt.] Matt Redlinger Jr.
