letter one day earlier. What did Tom do at Washington? The name is familiar but I couldn't place him. I have been going to go over and see him but have never gotten started. I took my basic training at Blanding in Florida. 17 wks of training as a rifleman in the Infantry, it was rough on me, when I am here I got a break & was pulled out for Cadre. My buddies are now in England. My wife lives 8 miles from camp at present & I get home each nite however she will go back to Iowa before school starts.
