Aug. 17, 1944 Pvt Harold W James 37685476 3508th A.A.F. Base Unit Section N. Bks 2135 Truax Field Madison Wisconsin (to:) Mr. Dave Elder Washington, Iowa Dear Dave I got my classification changed. Radio Mechanic school. It is swell to get back up in Gods country again anyway. Do you know any Washington boys that are up here? I like it fine up here good food all the milk butter and ice cream we want. Iowa still has it beat though. Yours Harold.
