France Aug. 26 - 44 Dear Dave, Received your Aug. 11th Scuttlebutt last night at eleven oclock, couldn't wait till this morning to read it so I crawls under a blanket and turned on a flashlight and vowed right there I was going to write to you in the morning, so here I am. There are a few of us still together that left with the N.G. in 41 Cyril James, Charles Plecker, Homar Palmer, Bartlett (Mossback) Gregary, Wilbur Wright, that isn't very many left out of 90 odd men,
