27 Aug 44 Dear Dave, Three "Drips" have dropped and I haven't even written to tell you thank's. I feel sort of guilty receiving a "Scuttlebutt" that could be going overseas to some of those guys in France and Saipan, but I like to get them. Though Im not in this mess much anymore I haven't been out of it so long that I have forgotten how much a document of this calibre would have meant to me. Keep me posted on the health of the Elder and Eicher flocks as I'm more than a little bit interested in the latter, if you get what I mean. Please give my best wishes and thank's to the many willing hands that aid you
