I thought it was beautiful it is solid silver and hand carved. The place we are staying for now is an old British camp we have stone barracks and natives to make our beds & sweep the floor also we have native cooks and waiters in the mess hall. The foods isn't like what mother used to fix but it could be a lot worse then it is. I haven't seen any one from home yet but never know when I might. How are the chickens getting along. Tell Mable hello from me. I have been reading some of the local literature and can't say so much for it. The literature is mostly about erotic women and I think most of them are from the number of children around every town. All you see is kids asking for money, a smoke or want to sell you something. They have picked up a few American sayings and you can imagine what they are
