Sept 25, 1944 Dear Dave I got the 25th Drip of the Scuttlbutt today & was glad to get it once again. There sure alot of the boys back home in this darn war. Was sorry to hear about Jim [illegible]. He was in college at home the same time I was. In a letter from home today I found out Dick Young is in this Div. I am going to try & look him up. I beleive he is a brother of Nate Young who was in 113th at home. We're back at band duties & have a fine concert & jazz band. Guess I'll close & eat some cocoa bread & jam all of which I possesed from the galley. I have a few friends. Always look out for my stomach. Sincerely Milo Steele
