Sept 30, 1944 Hi Dave & Gang, Received another issue of the (26th) Drip today & was darn glad to get it. Boy either you or some of the gang are on the ball back home because I've received the past 3 issues in good time. Pass the good word along & thanks. Had beer call a little bit ago & I'm staring two bottles of beer down!! They look big but they're darn small. We're lucky to get that so will be satisfied. There shouldn't be any beer shortage in the states because we don't see much out this way. I haven't heard from Willie Booth, in months. I don't know where or how he is. The Hi School boys really did ok for themselves on their opening football game. Wished I was knocking myself out playing again. I enjoyed the part of Sgt. Harney's letter that was published I'll back it up 100%, Thanks again & Best of Luck to the Scuttlebutt Keep it coming. Yours truly Milo Steele
