Nov. 29? 1944 Dear Mabel & Dave, This is a new one dollar bill. We get 540 chinese dollars for our one dollar bill. Pretty good trade, don't you think? But an average Chinese meal at a restaurant costs about $1,200.00 so we need lots of' 'em. So your chickens are now laying hard boiled eggs? Well I'll declare! Best regards for '45. Johnny Lee [Lt.
