February 17, 1944 Dear Dad & Mom: Have been busy and there just hasnt been a thing to write about. I am still in the same camp where I first arrived. I can't tell you where I went coming here but had a pleasant trip. You got my new address in record time and I have had three letters from you, one from Adeline & King and one from Irma. Say you must have had a quiet a blizzard from the clippings you sent, I haven't seen very much winter, I guess it wasn't so tough in Pocatello except for a couple of weeks. Expect that new copper tubing will save lots of hot water and you were fortunate Verne still had it. I wouldn't have guessed it was available with all the priorities it is necessary to get most anything. I must write to Jim very soon.
