February 14, 1944 Dear Dad & Mom: This is going to be a job to try and write this with all the new restrictions. It doesnt seem possible it is Saint Valentines day but I did get a valentine, doesnt mean much anymore anyhow. Had a pleasant trip coming here and the food was good. Cant tell you much about where I am but it's on the Atlantic coast. It certainly seemed good to get a good hot shower and did enjoy it. Im sorry you cant get a radio for the bedroom I think you might enjoy it. Got a letter from you and one from Adeline just before I left she said Red was someplace on the east coast and gave me his address. Am glad Billmeyer is spreading my lime. I was afraid he wouldn't get to it. Hope he got the receipts in, in
