the fellow, Bill Barron. He is taller yet than Brad Finch and the kids wondered if everyone I knew was over six feet. Rammy is certainly a fine little fellow still as polite and speaks as precisely as an English teacher. Before I left he insisted I take one of his funny books (Katzenjammer Kids) I believe, to read. Didnt expect he'd be allowed to have them. Emy was there and asked that I send her love to you and mentioned our visit in Florida. Wish you all were there this winter and enjoying yourselves as much as we did before. Got your letter this morning with the clipping about Ann Gaplerud in it, she must be having an interesting time and no doubt doing a splendid job. Wish I might be lucky enough to see her sometime. Im glad Pop you have been able to get lumber lately, hope the building season opens up and is lively, especially if you have materials to furnish. Jim's big flock of chickens looked fine only has fifteen but got eleven eggs the day I was there. Cant get over the joke of it but he says its a great help to have all the eggs they need and I believe they enjoy having them. Will close for today - Love Johnny
