about going to see. I expect I should know but I can't think of the life of me. Or maybe you are pulling one of Grandma's stunts on me. Your are having the same sort of weather we have been here lately. I hope it settles down and the farmers get their crops in soon. After all they'll need to plant corn before many days. Spring weather is hateful when it's so unsettled. We had a treat this morning fresh eggs instead of those lovely powdered ones. Same dehydrated foods are good and others lousey. potatoes aren't bad, carrots stink, beets fair etc. Our food in general has been very good tho, the bread is the best I've had in the army. I thought it was Italian made but they says it's army field bread, quite crusty and hard. is quite a luxury resort now. Understand there are electric lights in the tents and the service club building is progressing splendidly, it may be a G.I. rumor [illegible]. I had another letter from Uncle Ralph & Aunt K. so I must answer it very soon. Just don't find time to write anyone anymore. Love Johnny
