Feb 3, 1945 Hello Dave: I am going to write a few lines today. To let you know about my change of address. I came back to the states the first of Jan. They took me off of the ship I was on. I had to stay at the Terminal Island Navy base ten days. Then I came on this ship. It is a bran new one. There is sure a lot of work to do when you come on a new ship. I think I will like it on here tho.
