Orlando Florida
Feb. 13, 1945.
Dear Dave.
Must drop you a few lines to tell you I have been getting the Scuttlebutt and will say it is a wonderful paper and can't tell you how much we enjoy reading about everyone from home.
Dave, as I am out of town so much and hardly ever at my own base I would appreciate it if you would mail my Scuttlebutt here at the house, as my wife enjoys it as well as I do.
I have gotten in on testing the G.I.s for their 1945 drivers licences and that takes us over the biggest part of Florida. That is the reason I have been away so much. My regular job is Instructor in a Automotive school. I live off the post and my hours are from 8 till 5. six days a week. so I have it pretty nice compared to what some of the boys have gone through.
I got my Sgt. rating Feb. 1.th So that is something else you can change on my address.
