February 17, 1945 Belgium Dear Dave, Was happy to receive two Scuttlebutts this week. Drip No.44 & 45. Have been reading Jack Wilson's. Was very fortunate last week in that I got a pass to Paris and had a day & a half with my brother Allen. Just the week before Allen had a good visit with my youngest brother Charles who was also on a pass to Paris. I'm sorry I didn't get to see him too. Allen & I certainly did have a good time shooting the breeze. I got to see him about 8 hrs. in Bristol, England last March.
