I've been flying for nearly 3 years now & only turned over 1600 hrs. Would sure like to have one of those Avocados that Kenneth spoke about - I love them. You may have heard that the oldest boy of mine fell out of bed - That is after he had climed up the side of it - and broke his collar bone. [Maria?] writes that they have taken the splint or binding off & everything seems to be ok. Tough brek for a little fellow just 2 years of age. Had a letter from Lester Glick a short time ago - I expect to go to see him tomorrow. Would have made it today but the fog is a little too thick. It has cleared up a little now. but this AM you could see by straining your eyesight about the distance of 30 ft. They - the control [illegible] [indicating?] a pilot in now - Vis about 700 yds. Not too hot for flying--- Take things easy Dave but keep up the scuttle butt--I really enjoy the news from home - With Mother in Calif the scuttlebutt is my only news of Washington Iowa - Yours [Lt..Jg] Clifford Blecha
