[photo in upper left-hand corner] Feb. 19, 1945 Dear Mr. Scuttlebutt, Just recieved Drip 42 and I sure felt better when I read that Ira was okay. I knew he was missing quite some time ago, cause he isn't, or at least he wasn't too far from me. Here is another change off address for me. Pv't. Robert L. Clark 37682988 1302 Airdrome Sqdn. A.P.O. 744 c/o P.M. N.Y.C., N.Y. You can disregard the picture as it was an idea of my aunts for a Christmas present to me. Wouldn't that be a horrible thing to find staring at me when I woke up. You know Dave, this is really a wonderful Country to visit. Sometimes I really wonder how they're gonna keep em down on the farm after they've seen Pairee. Notice I said a nice place to visit. I'd hate like the devil to have to live here. I'll take dear old Iowa any day. Not much news except my address change. I didn't move. Just changed address. So long for this time. Just another drip, Luckey [Pvt. Robert L. Clark]
