"Phillipines" 2/25/45 A.P.O 41 Dear Dave, Have just rec'd my 45th Issue so I'm pretty well up to date, even tho' the new A.P.O. They'll be coming faster when you get this new A.P.O. I've never written my Thanx for Scuttlebutt before Dave, so maybe this sentence will take care of it. "It's a swell little paper!" As you've probably noticed. I'm now in the Phillipines. It's really nice compared to Guinia. Civili-zation anyway - the Fili-pinas do our laundry for a small fee and bring bananas and eggs and similar things. Their main need is clothes and even comes before money. These people really
