Feb. 27, 1945 Dave Elder Washington, Iowa Dear Friend: Dave, Yes, I've moved again so be sure & change my address, you know what that papers means to all of us & I sure don't want to be one that don't get it. I just got out of the hospital yesterday, nothing serious, my blood just quit circulating right in my legs & it made my ankle's swell up. [illegible], I think is what they called it, but Im back to work again, so guess Ill be allright. Well, Dave I know your plenty busy, so I'll not take up any more of your time.
