In a letter from my Mother I hear Jim Bey is home & is to report here on completion of his leave. I'll be very glad to see him. In my 14 months here I have yet to meet someone from home. My work is still the same as it was a year ago. Still a so-called Instrument specialist in a sqd. of 30 B-24s & have two helpers. We, (along with the Electricians, 7 in all) have a very unique shop, pin-ups writing tables & all. In fact three of us are over here tonite writing. I'm getting back into the Dance Band business and it feels mighty good to sit down in a band with orchestrations in front of me again. I'm playing with a post Dance Band. We play for the weekly officers Sat. night dance plus a job now & then
