[V-mail letterhead with To and From addresses] [1945] March 10 Dear Dave, My apologies for being so late with a letter--I have no excuse since being in [illegible] depot gives one lots of time. May be that that is the reason. Since our arrival we have been awaiting assignment to a permanent bomb group--should come along pretty soon. Hope I get a group with some Wash boys in it. Our [illegible] over was very pleasant--we fly our own ship and had a great time. Say, Dave, thanks a million for the back issues of the Scuttle--they were here almost as soon as I was. Incidently mail service is pretty good. Must close for now--will write you again soon. Sincerely, Bill Brown
