My dear Mrs. Whitley, Thank you ever so much for wishing to put me on the committee to cooperate with the Bureau of Industry, at Washington. Mr. Parrott gave me your message also and I have been wondering ever since how I could measure up to the [requirements?]. Never the less I will accept and will be only too glad to lend a helping hand in the reconstruction of the industrial world which is so much needed now and has been in the past. "Back to Nature" is an old hobby of mine, and "Back to the Soil" is the practical way. Yours Sincerely Jane Fisher Parrott Cedar Heights Waterloo Iowa. Oct. 28 1918.
